Bunch of picture stuff

Not a lot to say really, the engine has been stripped the likely culprit identified, and all parts sent all over the place with view to gettin em fixed up a bit.
Before the doom ... a half decent looking launch
The cases are a gonner, it'll need a new set. Luckily i have 2 pairs tucked under the workbench in the cellar .... Actually i have 4 sets but 2 are messy, and are for use only when things get really desperate!

The barrels have been de-sleeved and sent on a trip to Norfolk to see Stu Crane for some welding. The smashed up conrod had punched a large dent into the underside that requires building back up. Then they need resurfacing and a new sleeve fitting. A thicker base spacer will be needed after all the surfacing, so i've been working on modifying my head gasket CAD drawing - turning it into a base gasket. Once i know how thick it needs to be i'll have a couple water cut out of sheet aluminum.
I can modify the file very easily, so any diameter sleeve or offset can be accommodated. I can have these cut out of ally or copper quite cheaply should anyone require one.
The head may not need any welding but does need 4 seats and valves. I have a spare piston and a set of rings. The real bummer really is the damaged rod, it needs the crank pulling apart to fit it.

The question now is whether parts can be sourced and everything put back in order before the next event in June..... fingers crossed.
