I took some CAD files to be water cut during my lunch break today, for some reason my CAD software (which is open source and free - so i shouldn't complain) saves odd glitches into the files, usually odd loose ends and duplicate lines etc, but they weren't there last time i edited them. Anyway, they took some cleaning up before they could be cut and we had to temporarily abandon 2 others i had as they were so glitchy.
So here is the first file..... and as Rolf Harris would say, "Can you tell what it is yet?"
I'll give you a clue, it's to accommodate something I've acquired, and doubles as 2 other things at the same time.
Yes thats right! It's a new battery box complete with nitrous bottle bottom bracket, and air shift kill switch holder. Brill!
The reason for the new battery box is due to getting a new battery, which of course had to be a different size to the old battery, it's an Odyssey however and its got more UUMPFFH and they are supposed to be good and it was cheaper than most AGM batteries.
As the battery is bigger it also made the airshifter kill switch homeless so i incorporated a new mount for that too. And while i was at it the bottom bracket for the nitrous bottle needed modifying so i can fit a bigger bottle heater to the bottle.
