No longer a 1260cc dragbike?

Today was the last chance i had to get over to Roger Upperton's and collect the engine parts I'd left with him. I'd left the top crankcase which has been bored to accept the bigger cylinder block, and the gearbox which needed a few tweaks, basically one of the gears had spun and moved on the shaft, and so needed a new gear pressing on. This was one of the reasons that I'd trouble with 5th gear last year, so hopefully that's the end of that problem.
I also collected the big block and pistons that Roger has very kindly sorted out for me, plus all the bits needed to assemble them.
The only problem now is the lack of top end oiler that i cannot be without, mines unlikely to make it here in time, so I've emailed a few people to try and borrow or buy one cheaply. If i absolutely cannot get one I'll just have to assemble it as a 1260 once again.

Anyway, the reassembly has begun, the bottom end is tomorrow evenings task and if i get time I'll check the deck height of the block and pistons so i can order the right thickness base gasket.

The little nugget of chance of having the new bike ready has now shrivelled to far less than nugget size. It's just an insignificant spec now..... nothing greater than an amoeba i would say.
