Just outside the Batcave.....

Lots of small jobs underway at the moment, bodywork modifications have now expanded into minor cosmetic repairs where cracks have appeared in various places, and the decision has been taken to go for a complete respray, it'll be much cheaper to do now anyway since i bought a compressor a while back. Another job ongoing at the moment is replacing fork seals, which must've been leaking for a while as there was very little fluid actually left in the forks. They'll be replaced with expensive ones this time, in the hope they don't fail as easily as the last ones.

The first stage of the new workshop was put into action today. The area where the workshop will go is currently occupied by a fairly large shed, so part one was to move it further up the garden. Today seemed like a good day, it wasn't raining anyway. So we emptied it and took it to bits, then dragged everything up the garden, got it all leveled up and threw it back together. The felt on the roof got damaged so we had to replace that, but otherwise it all happened fairly smoothly.

The next step is to hire a whacker and flatten the ground out, then shutter in an area to be filled with concrete. It requires a lot of concrete! I've made a start on sourcing materials, i want to build a wooden frame, and i'd prefer to use reclaimed timber, it's a lot cheaper than new, and because it's on the inside it'll never rot anyway.
