It's only something like 7 weeks till the first race meting at Easter. A small flurry of activity has taken place, engine parts have been taken care of and reassembly has begun, plus a fair bit of work has gone into creating a new set of wheelie bars. They are mongrel crossbreed bars - part aluminium and part steel. Heavier for sure but maybe a little stronger? we will wait and see. they are also weld free, with simple threaded fittings at each end, and the steel cross bracing will be brazed or bronze welded.
I recently acquired an oxy propane brazing kit so i'll do a bit of test brazing just as soon as i get gas.
Shed progress has been non existent after moving the other one. Getting ready for the race season has taken priority, but once everything's done the plan should resume once again.
