A bigger shed means a bigger bike right!?

It's been a while since the last update, cobwebs had started to appear in the corners. Whats been happening then? As usual quite a lot, but there's not a lot to show for it so far. The bodywork mods are mostly complete, it just needs painting  but that will have to wait a long while till the weather warms up, (probably a week before the first race), which strangely isn't called the Easter thunderball anymore. It's now - The festival of power, still held over the Easter weekend but downgraded to a 3 day event, with the Friday being only a test day.
A few things to sort before then but no major changes planned. There's the valve seats still to sort out,and engine to rebuild. The bike needs a new tyre as it was discovered that one side was more worn than the other (and explains why the bike kept going repeatedly left) the tyre was effectively cone shaped. I have picked up a new set of pistons but I'm unsure if I'll use them in this engine just yet. They are Blanks so will need machining for height and valve pockets. And a new set of wheely bars will be required, not sure if I'll buy another set or make some as yet.
I've been making a new handlebar bracket for the air shifter and 2-step button. Releasing a button with your thumb is awkward - your thumb doesn't bend backwards, so it requires your whole arm to move, pressing something on the other had is easy. So the new bracket has the airshifter button in the usual -thumb operated place, but the 2-step button faces forward and is now held in with an index finger, which is much better and far easier to release.

Longer term plans for next year are to save up and build an above ground workshop at the bottom of my Sisters garden. It would give me more space and allow me to get decent size milling machine rather than keep looking for mid size ones which seem to fetch silly money and may not actually be capable of what i want. It would also mean no more flooding, which this year has been a regular occurrence. If i can get the workshop done and get through next season without trashing too much then 2013 could be the last year for bopchop v2. A bigger shed means a bigger bike right!?
