It's very similar to a lot of the Chinese mills a that are around, except this one is Taiwanese and has rack and pinion rise and fall to the head, which cannot rotate whilst being adjusted. I was impressed with how sturdy its is, i was really expecting it to be flimsy but it's not.
This morning was spent modifying its stand so it would fit in a certain corner of the cellar, and thsi afternoon i reassembled it and it's now ready for action. Or rather it would be if i had some tool holders! It's actually a bit of a relief to finally get buying a mill out of the way. It means one less bunch of items on my eBay watch list. I can return to looking for a datalogger instead!
So..... what do i plan to make with said mill? i've no idea really! But it was the same when i bought the lathe a couple of years ago, and now it's utterly invaluable.
