The last parts to complete the rebuilt engine were fitted this afternoon.

New valves went in the repaired cylinder head, and the head was fitted. The rocker arms were changed for a set of GSXR ones as they have a better profile with longer contact pad for the high lift cams.

However, with the lash caps on the valves there was not enough clearance for the adjuster screws so, they were swapped back out for the originals. I'm guessing the easiest way round hat problem will be to grind the unthreaded portion of the adjuster screw down a little, but for now the GSX ones will do.
Tomorrows task is to degree the cams and set ignition timing, fill the engine with oil and fire it up.

If there are no issues then we will be heading down to Santa Pod for fridays test day ahead of the event itself which is on the Saturday and Sunday.
