Lock up, shim up, head on, brain off

I had to put all the panels and bits on the bike when the seat arrived, just so i could see what it's going to look like. Pretty cool i would say!
I had a sit on it and made engine noises too, until i was discovered and denied everything.

The clutch is now back together, i don't really know what a good setup will be, i will have to run it and find out. The previous owner had removed 3 of the clutch springs (OEM suzuki) and added another clutch plate. I have left the extra plate in but i'm going to use all the springs until i find out otherwise.

I've scouted around for info on offboard starters, and it seems most people have made their own from car starter motors. A work colleague had a spare landrover starter that i took to play with and i reckon it's going to be ideal! It has a reduction gearbox built in, rotates the right way and has an output shaft that will be dead easy to weld a 29mm socket onto...... sorted!
