Something different

On wednesday i went to collect a bike i'd bought, and for the first time in quite a while it wasn't a GSX. It wasn't terribly far off as it's actually a GSXR1100, one of the later water cooled models. I always fancied one of these, it was 'the hot' bike when i was 17 and just passed my test, but i couldn't afford one or the insurance.
The water cooled versions of the GSXR are more powerful with a 155hp motor, better brakes, stiffer frame, but the same looks.
It's been stood for 5 years but i had it started briefly this afternoon. However it's not started again since!

It need a fair few bits and pieces, the main ones being tyres, fork seals & battery. I will try and get it sorted and put MOT and tax on it, ride it for a couple of months then sell it quick before i start to get attached to it!

In dragbike land things are progressing bit by bit. I now have a 2step button instead of a clutch lever, and i spoke to Stuart Crane a few days ago and the Warpspeed Racing Slider clutch is nearly ready.
The first versions of the Easter thunderball entry list have been published this week too. Most bike classes seem short on entries at the moment but there's a couple of weeks left before the closing date.
