There were a couple of non entries - one of which was Kev Charman on the fuel bike, but otherwise there were quite a few 7 second runners, Steve French who qualified number 1 with a 7.2, Dave peters and Stu Crane. The second round elimination race between Stu Crane and Dave peters was particularly good, Stu Took the win and went on to win the event in the final against Al Young.

site with a couple of pages of shots, the first featuring just comp bike can be seem HERE and the rest HERENow i have the bike back in the cellar I've removed the engine and stripped the frame completely too.
I'm not sure what the plan is just yet but it's likely i'll make a few modifications to the frame, and i may even run the old bike - the original bopchop, when i get the engine rebuilt, just to see if the case cracking problem continues.
