Much deliberation

After lots item watching on eBay i finally managed to lay my hands on a Lathe, and oddly it wasn't even on eBay, i spotted it in Loot and went to pick it up from Liverpool on Monday. It's a Chester 920 which is the same as all the other 9" x 20" Chinese made lathes that are available from lots of different suppliers. It's about 10yr old and has been unused for most of that time so it's currently undergoing a partial strip down. It comes with a few bits like steadies, 3 & 4 jaw chucks, and a selection of cutters.
It should come in real handy, especially when i come to make a start on the new frame. things like wheel spacers, steering stems etc... piece of cake! .... maybe!

I've also found a couple of GSX frames, one from a fellow racer which I'll possibly collect at next weekends race at Shakespeare county raceway. And if not i found one at a local breakers and it's pretty cheap too.

I might try upping the nitrous a little for the next race. A further 20hp is all i was thinking, which should just mean a change of jets and taking a bit more ignition timing out... maybe 8 degrees rather than the current 6. I don't actually have any bigger jets but i might well simply drill them out to the next size, which i think is a 0.65mm drill. I'll have to be triple sure before doing it however.
