Shakedown II The update

Broadcasting live from a van at Shakespeare county raceway, sheltering from the rain. The weather at shakey is a bit rubbish, it has rained for most of the day, but there was a 3 or 4 our window this afternoon when the sun and thunderflies came out, and we manage to get a couple of runs down the track. The first run was spoiled by an air hose that popped out leaving me stuck in second gear. It still went 12 something but we were beat by a 500 two stroke!
Next run i decided to forget about setting up carbs (it's sooo boring) and just turn the nitrous on and go for it. The run was real strong but the bike was heading left until i had to back off at half track to stop it crossing the centerline. Looking at the first half incrementals it was the fastest run to date with a 1.337 60ft and 3.513 to 330ft. The finishing time a not so great 9.0. So it's looking good, just need to make it go straight now.
Tomorrows forecast is better so will have to wait and see.
