Today we managed another 2 runs down the dragstrip, there were moderate crosswinds which may have caused a couple of people to come off. Comp bike rider Fiona Moor came of at the top end and Pro Stock rider Ray Debben came off in similar circumstances. I was set to run straight after Fiona which was a little off putting but we ran a good 8.6 @152mph and i didn't notice any crosswind.
On the next run we used the bottle heater to get the nitrous pressure up a little as the bike does run quite rich, and i changed to a shorter build time of just 1 second and 50% start off the line. It did of course leave a bit harder on that run and ran pretty straight too. 1/8th mile speed was down a little, but the leaned out nitrous allowed it to run better at the top end and it ran another 8.5 this time at 154mph.
Not sure what the qualifying ladder will look like yet but i suspect I'll be qualified 7th. The main thing is we have qualified and get to run at least one round of eliminations tomorrow!
