Once again the inland revenue have spoiled my fun! Adding £40 to the price of the new Nitrous controller. I was still a bargain though and I'm just very pleased to have a replacement one. And i must thank the kind folk at Schnitz electronics for offering it at such a good price.
The PNC-3000 has now has arrived and it's very funky/techno....... It's smaller, lighter and has infinitely more features than the PNC-101 that i had before.
Many of the tricks up it's sleeve will probably never be used, but they're there should i decide to make the bike more complicated during the winter ... a scenario that is extremely likely!
Rewiring has been slow to get going. I'd run out of electrical connectors and wire so have been waiting for more to arrive. And yesterday i went out and spent a fair amount on wire, that it turns out i probably won't need as there is a very generous amount provided with the Nitrous controller. I will however be able to get the ball rolling now i have everything required.
My partner and self appointed team manager has purchased an new digital SLR camera, so there should be a plethora of startline imagery and wrinkly-tyre type shots after the next event.... thats if she can figure out how it works!
My sister is going to lend me her wireless broadband USB dongle too so i'll have internet access at future race meetings. So i'll be able to post results, pictures and mid event over-enthusiastic waffle!
I made a start on wiring the controller in today, but it started to get a bit complicated. So came home to sketch out a diagram to help me understand what i'm doing.
