Ive written a note to myself thats stuck on my monitor, it reads: "Do not spend owt"....... Of course it's not been entirely successful!Sirus has been good enough to let me use the original mini-bopchop as a tow bike at races. It just needs an engine because he wanted to keep the C90 motor for a pit bike. I found a 3 speed semi-auto Honda C70 engine on eBay, which i collected and have started to fit into the frame. The mounting points needed a bit of tweaking and the whole engine sits a little higher than it should, but there is one advantage in that the C70 doesn't need a battery and so keeps things simpler.
As far as the real Bopchop is concerned i've not done much, most of what needs doing is wiring and until i order the connectors and stuff i can't do much. I've managed to source a 24 volt starter solenoid, this should end the problem of the solenoid sticking on whilst starting the bike, and preventing the panic and unneccessary wear on the motor when it does so.
