I sent my signed ACU license form off a couple of days ago, so I'm hoping that i get my full National license back before next weekend.
I've been trying to resist temptation to change things on the bike. I decided however to separate the fuel system for the carbs from the nitrous system. The petrol tank has 2 outlets anyway so i've dedicated one to the carbs and one to Nitrous. This should help fuel flow once i do start using the NO2. I added a large inline fuel filter too to help keep the system clean.
I had a problem with the offboard starter last weekend, in that it decided to get stuck in the on position. The only way to get it to stop spinning was to disconnect it from the battery. A clout from a hammer gets it unstuck so we had to carry a hammer around on the cart just in case it did it again. I had a look at the solenoid and because it's fairly worn it's created a recess where the copper contacts touch, and this is where they've been welding themselves together. So I removed the lip, cleaned up all the surfaces and lightly greased the mechanism. Hopefully thats cured it for a while at least. Other than that all I've done is bling-ed up the starter cart with a metallic blue paint job and some stickers... well funky!
