With very little to actually do on the bike now, all thats really left is the riding part.

I was contemplating going back to Santa Pod at the weekend for the Straightliners event. But after the hideousness of the previous weekend i decided to let the weather forecast decide for me. Of course it predicted quite heavy rain in the days leading up to Saturday and it was settled that i wouldn't go. Come Saturday though and the weather was fine, and Sunday even better.
So i missed out and have now decided never to look at the weather forecast ever again as it's just designed to keep everyone indoors by telling them its going to be bad outside.

There's plenty to choose from when it comes to RWYB events at the moment. Theres one every weekend at one track or another. This coming weekend is the first event of the year at Shakespeare County raceway (formerly Avon Park) a 2 day RWYB/test and tune meeting. It's not quite as far to go as Santa Pod either so i may well go down for either the weekend or just one day. And if not theres a RWYB at York raceway the weekend after.
I've sent my entry to the next event off too ... the Springspeed Nationals at Shakespeare County Raceway on the bank holiday weekend 3-5th of May.
What i should really be doing though is getting my poor neglected road bike back in shape ... my
