The slightly beneficial benefits of reading instructions

Today marked the end of another part of the dragbike build. All the parts arrived that were needed to complete the nitrous installation. It took a couple of hours to fit the solenoids and cut all the lines to length and assemble everything.
It just so happened that i took a trip over to Rochdale this morning too and got the Nitrous bottle filled. So now it's ready to go. Nitrous costs approx £5 per lb and the bottle is 2 and a half pounds. How long it lasts will depend on what size nitrous jets
are being used. I have 36bhp jets installed (9bhp per carb) at the moment, so it should give quite a few runs before needing a refill. It's best to start off with small jets just to get the ratio correct between the fuel and nitrous jets. Once you know this ratio gives correct air/fuel mixture you can go for larger ones using the same formula.
I should find out if the jetting is good in two weeks time as i have it booked in at Junction 33 Dyno center in Galgate near Lancaster.
I thought the progressive controller was duff because i tested it and nothing happened. I have never fully tested this unit since i got it off eBay months ago so i started to presume i'd been sold a duff. I knew there was one on eBay at the moment so as soon as i got home i put a bid on it with only 30minutes left. It was at this point i found the instructions on my PC and decided to read them properly. A sight oversight on my part is that the solenoid output on the controller controls the ground side of the solenoids not the +side!!
Luckily for me i was outbid whilst reading and didn't win the item .... phew, nearly wasted £170 on something i didn't need.
