Yeehaa!

Finally, some 7 weeks after placing an order with schnitz in the US, i have my parts.
And so, without further adoo ......
I started to put the engine back together. I have never worked on a simpler nicer engine, the last engine i built was an RG125 two stroke and in comparison it was a total ass, splitting the cases horizontally, trying to get selector forks and 4 shafts to go back together whilst getting bearings to go over the crank, all at the same time? ...like i said, a total ass.
The selector drum and forks sit in the lower case and the crank, input shaft and output shaft are all laid out in the upper case as shown above, each bearing has locater pins so you cant go wrong. Then you then just get the gears and selector drum arranged into neutral, and lower the bottom half of the casing down over the studs and give it slight tap to get it to sit on the locating dowels properly.
Every single gasket oring and oil seal is new, for the price you may as well change them.
With all the bolts torqued down correctly i moved on to fitting other bits like the oil pump and uprated gears, the bearing retainers and clutch basket. The Clutch Hub however is worrying me slightly as it is worn where it is driven by the input shaft splines. I have 2 spares but these are the same! So thats on hold till i find out some info about sorting this.
