Seeing the unforseen

This afternoon I've been messing about using some cheap erw tube to do some trial runs of the bottom frame tubes.

This is the most complex tube as it's quite long and has 2 bends on it's way to the headstock. It was worth doing as several issues turned up. One such issue is making sure there will be enough steering movement, the rulebook requires 20 degrees minimum so i'll have to check that tomorrow.

I also need to do each bend in the right order, otherwise there isn't enough clearance to get the tubes in the bender without turning the thing upside down.
Whilst sat pondering the whole process i decided the whole thing really is quite complicated!!
I think i'll buy a bit more cheap tube on monday and practice a bit more.
