In the last post it was mentioned that a full 5 speed auto was on the agenda. Well it's now no longer on the agenda - it's in my workshop ready to be fitted. It's a nearly new Robinson, billet 5 speed auto with the GS output shaft splines. Good (apparently) for high 6 second passes, so fairly future proof!
There's a few tweaks needed to the cases before fitting it, and it'd be good to make a new shift drum to go with it. So i'm currently in the middle of making some bracketry required to mount it onto the rotary table (another recent acquisition, it's only a cheapo one but it seems ok).
