Box in - case closed

It may seem like not a lot has been happening with the bopchop recently, but you can be assured it's always happening - even if it's only in my mind! Actual real physical progress has been surrounding the recently acquired Robinson box. The cases have been fettled and the box has been test fitted and refitted, and checked over and over, but now it's in and the engine is on it's way back together.
I'm keen to get it finished so i can make a start on other things.
The Innovate LM1 wideband unit has now been re-homed and I've purchased the proper AF1 unit for the Racepak logger. I've also added a clutch sensor to the order so those should be on their way shortly. The clutch sensor should make clutch slip more transparent and help point us in the right direction regarding setup, which has always proved to be usually the opposite of what you'd expect. The 60ft times, despite improving significantly this season should still have room for improvement.
The wideband info won't be anything new but with it being all on one graph and with an accurate start time it'll make interpreting that data a lot faster and simpler. I've also ditched my old laptop and bought - an older one! just because it has a real serial port rather than a USB to serial adapter. These are .... in my experience a complete pain, and rarely work properly, especially in-between races when you just want to make a quick change and the thing won't connect. This one works every time!

I'm currently trying to gather parts for whatever comes next. I still have a Vance and Hines 2 valve head winging it's way here anytime soon. I doubt it will fit in the frame of the Bopchop, so i'm trying to get used to the idea of having to build a bopchop mk 3........ geez
