The original bopchop is looking a bit less sad and pillaged now as it's back on its wheels rather than propped up with bricks. I refitted the front wheel and brake system after it's loan to the new bike, I also made a start on cleaning up my spare set of engine cases. It looks like chemical stripping or some kind of blasting will be required as they are pretty scabby and nitromors isn't doing the trick.
I don't have enough parts yet to assemble a second engine but thought i'd make a start anyway.
The new bike now sports a freshly powder coated RG125 front wheel with skinny Dunlop slick.
I also fitted a new wavy type disk and and rebuilt the calliper with polished pistons, new seals, braided hose, master cylinder and lever.
There really ain't a lot else happening with the bike at the minute. Instead I've been sorting out the persistent flooding problem that i have with the cellar (team bopchop HQ) whenever it rains heavily. A different type of pump and automatic float should hopefully have it sorted, but until it rains a lot there's no way of knowing.
The Goose has finally sold now too, i didn't get as much as i hoped for it but I'm not out of pocket and it sure was fun to ride while it lasted.
