The plan for 2009 is pretty similar to this year in that we'll be trying to make it to every ACU championship round. The dates for the events are basically the same as this year too, with the exception of the Extreme Bike weekend which has moved from Early September to October. That also means that the National Finals will not actually be the finals at all as the Extreme Bike weekend is still to come .... odd but that's how it's been scheduled.
The season made up of 4 rounds at the Pod and 2 at Shakespeare county raceway, and it all starts with the Easter Thunderball at Santa Pod in April.
The dates then, look like this:
April 10/11/12/13th - Santa Pod - Easter Thunderball
May 2/3/4th - Shakespeare County Raceway - Springspeed Nationals
June 13/14th - Santa Pod - Santa Pod - Summer Nationals
August 21/23rd - Shakespeare County Raceway - Open Sport Nationals
September 26/27th - Santa Pod - National Finals
October 10/11th - Santa Pod - Extreme Performance Bike weekend
There's a one or two RWYB's and test and tune days that we might make it to as well. The first of which is the Straightliners weekend in March. I'll have to wait and see where I'm at with the bike before deciding for sure. I still have to strip the engine to fit the Auto when it's ready so there's plenty to do before then.
