To add to yesterdays post, i have pictures of all the bikes entered in the Comp bike class. For Bob Brooks and Dave Peters this was their first outing of the year. There are one or two missing who have entered other events but not this one so i don't have photos of them. All Pics are thanks to Sam (self appointed team manager and chief pictrure taker).
Alan Young CB4 I can't tell you much about this bike other than it was built to run in the Outlaw bike class, and will probably do so at forthcoming Outlaw demo events.
Best time of the weekend: 9.170 @ 162.85mph
Bob Brooks CB24 Bobs first outing on his Yellow Metal supercharged, vaguely GSX based methanol bike. He also got his licensing runs out of the way.
Best time of the weekend: 9.011 @ 156.85mph
Dave Peters CB3 Daves first outing this year after returning from working in canada. the bike is a Turbo Nitrous GSX based funnybike .
Best time of the weekend: 7.674 @ 180.44mph
Fiona Moor CB21 Fiona has only contested the two Shakespeare county rounds on her turbo GSX based bike.
Best time of the weekend: 9.473 @ 138.44mph
Ivan Birch CB18 Ivan managed to set a new comp bike top speed record in qualifying. The bike is a Nitrous GSX powered promod machine. We had to use a scanned photo as we seemed to have missed him somehow.
Best time of the weekend: 7.364 @ 182.59mph
Nick Holland CB6 Nick runs the only kawasaki in Comp bike. The motor is also the smallest in the class but is turbocharged.
Best run of the weekend: 8.278 @ 157.02
Phil Leamon CB1Phil runs a Nitrous GSX motor and was last years Comp bike winner.
Best time of the weekend: 8.265 @ 160.97mph
Roland Chaplain CB5 Sometimes Roland races the Think Pink Nitrous GSX, sometimes it's Sandra. Don't know who's gone fastest on it but this weekend was Rolands turn.
Best time of the weekend: 8.333 @ 151.97mph
Stuart Crane CB9 Stuart runs a Nitrous GSX based bike that looks like the lowest machine ever, but it could be Stuart making it look low as he's so tall.
best Run of the weekend: 7.875 @ 174.01mph
