Race HQ

The last few days have been spent getting things ready for this coming weekends Run What You Brung event at Santa Pod. I'm still going to wait and see what the weather forcast is before going though. I also spent some time tidying up the wheely bars, some painting of rusty bits, some polishing of ally bits, and attaching plates for my race number and various stickers to be displayed. A local car shop is cutting some vinyl numbers for me hopefully. And the plates themselves i found in a model shop and are a non shattering plastic known as plasticard, which is a available in a bewildering array of thicknesses and is very strong and flexible.

Race HQ has now been purchased too.
Our Dandy trailer tent looks a bit like this one. It needs a little bit of work, mostly to the metal legs that support the foldy out bits. A little bit of welding should sort it out.
It's very spacious inside, has 2 double beds, a sink, sofa and a lot of cupboards and storage space. And importantly it has a full size awning that should accommodate the bike and tools easily.

The next stage is to sort out a mains hook-up for it so we can make good use of the Santa Pod electricity we paid £40 for.
