Some history

I've been trying to find out more info about the bike.
The bike was obviously once a well put together piece of kit, it had just been through several hands that hadn't really spent much effort on it and just needed a bit of work. This suited me fine as i wanted to learn as i went, not just buy something ready to ride.
I bought the bike off 2 lads from leeds. They bought it as a rolling chassis from someone in Dewsbury. I've managed to find out that it was once the property of Chris "Cannon" Hannam. So i emailed him and he was able to fill me in a little .... he told me that he bought it off a mate, just because it had a turbo and nitrous GSX motor in it. He never rode it but told me it used to run 8s
Thats all i've been able to find out about the chassis. The only reason i think it was once a competition bike, is thats the only category it could race in due to having the 7" slick on the back and having wheely bars. (other than funnybike according to current ACU rules).
The lads from leeds had fitted a standard GSX1100 kat engine, they also had another engine that was tuned but they hadn't fitted it as it wasn't complete.
I bought the whole deal from them and am currently sorting one good motor out of the two, using exsisting parts or scouring the internet for secondhand bargains!

So it's all great fun and i'm looking forward to running it.
